    Why your Instagram spacing disappears

Instagram cleans up captions before it publishes them. It merges consecutive empty lines, and it often deletes a line break when the line before ends with a space, which is easy to do on a phone keyboard. Filling the empty line with a character Instagram doesn’t treat as blank, and trimming trailing spaces, stops both problems.

    Formatting tips for readable captions

    • Keep the first line short and strong. Only about 125 characters show before “more”.
    • Use one idea per paragraph and an empty line between paragraphs.
    • Put hashtags at the end, after an empty line, so they don’t interrupt your message.
    • Check the total length with the character counter: invisible characters count too.

    Frequently asked questions

Why does Instagram remove my line breaks?

Instagram collapses empty lines, and it often drops a line break that comes right after a space. Your paragraphs then merge into one block of text.

How does the line break generator fix it?

It removes the spaces at the end of each line and puts an invisible character on every empty line. Instagram sees the empty line as text and keeps it, but your followers just see a blank line.

    Which invisible character is used?

By default the Braille blank (U+2800), which renders as an empty space on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. You can switch to a visible dot or another character if you prefer.

Does it work for my Instagram bio?

Yes. Paste the result into the bio field in Edit profile. Instagram’s bio allows up to 150 characters, and each invisible character counts as one.

Does it work on TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook?

Yes. The same trick keeps spacing in TikTok captions and bios, and in Facebook posts. LinkedIn usually keeps line breaks on its own, but the result works there too.

    Is my caption saved?

No. The text is processed in your browser and never sent anywhere.
