How to use it
- Click Copy invisible character.
- Open the WhatsApp chat or your About field.
- Long-press the text box and tap Paste, then send.
Good to know
- WhatsApp removes spaces on their own, but keeps blank Unicode characters, so the message looks empty.
- For several blank lines in one message, repeat the character with the tool and press Enter between them.
- Formatting shortcuts like *bold* and _italic_ still work around blank characters.
Which blank character should I use?
| Character | Code | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Hangul filler | U+3164 | Blank names, nicknames, spaces in game names |
| Braille blank | U+2800 | Empty lines in captions and bios |
| Zero-width space | U+200B | Invisible separators; some apps remove it |
| No-break space | U+00A0 | Keep two words on the same line |
All of them are real Unicode characters. They look empty, but apps treat them as text, which is why they are not removed like normal spaces.

Frequently asked questions
How do I send an empty message on WhatsApp?
Copy the invisible character here and paste it alone in the chat. WhatsApp sends it as a message that looks blank.
Can I have a blank name on WhatsApp?
Paste the invisible character into your profile name. If WhatsApp asks for at least one visible character, try the Hangul filler (ㅤ) instead.
Is the invisible character safe to use?
Yes. It is a standard Unicode character. Nothing is installed and nothing is sent from your device.
